    November 23: 146.8, down 2.4lbs after coming back from a very indulgent eating vacation. As always, my weight follows a 2 week lag pattern, it always reflects what I did 2 weeks before. But also, I did IF (OMAD) on the trip and stuffed my face with seafood because I was by the ocean, so not a bad way to indulge.

    I have been doing IF for 6-8 weeks now, and in that time have had not one but two very indulgent eating vacations. One in the land of cheese the other in the land of lobster.

    My metabolism and weight loss had been stalled for over a year, but I have so much more energy now.

    I've settled on mostly alternate day fasting, which I really like, and my system seems to respond well to. So I'll eat one day however I please, fast the next, eat the next, and so on.

    I wouldn't do it if it wasn't easy, but I can see maintaining this indefinitely. I'm very pleased.

    Hi, I am in for another cycle. Thanks for starting this again.

    STARTING WEIGHT/DATE WITH MFP: about 175 on 8/19/12 (been here a long time, lol, but kinda off & on)
    Lost about 25 pounds, then pretty much maintaining, up a little, down a little, but would like to lose another 15 or so.
    Ended last challenge at end of Aug. at 151.94# & didn't weigh for the month of Sept. I felt like daily weighing was getting to me, so tried not weighing for a month. Seemed to pretty much maintain, but now I am ready to get to a healthy weight.

    Challenge starting weight: 152.07
    I weigh every day & average them on Monday, so my numbers are the weekly average.
    My goal for this cycle will be 5# (I amended this a bit, as I felt I was being too aggressive)
    Oct. 4= 152.07
    Oct. 11= 151.4
    Oct. 18= DNW at dd's house & no scale
    Oct. 25= 152.56

    Oct. loss= +.49
    Oct. average weight= 152.01

    Nov. 1= 150.75
    Nov. 8= 152.84

    November 27: 252.2 lbs (I actually saw 250 on the scale but it was days before 27th, even made my goal of exercising 5 hours total this week. But my body had the last laugh apparently. Going to try a fasting diet next week to scare my body into submission. Hungry is healthy for me, full is gaining weight. dang it. On the bright side, I actually had energy in the evening once or twice, which is very unusual for me.)

    November Goal: 249 lbs (Milestone marker; top lb bracket of 'obese BMI' for me; no longer morbidly obese)
    November Actual: 252.2 lbs
    November Loss: -0.6 lbs :cry:

    What I've learned so far:
    - exercise in the evening after eating has less impact than exercise in the morning before eating, regardless of same caloric intake

    Gosh, I suck at losing weight….I am dieting and staying same, which really means THIS is maintenance and I need to REALLY cut more cals to lose weight. I don’t think I have it in me….I am feeling deprived at maintenance!
