    Thanks! I know I'm late (Sunday was my birthday ;} and I went out for dinner)

    I added my weight loss goal for jan, also posted my starting weight, answered the questions, posted my goals and results each day, worked out 3+ times and set my nutrition goals and supported the team (could have done that more though). I think I got all the points so this is just for my own feel good factor seeing as I'm such a slow coach :wink:

    Coffee! I love the smell of it, the taste.. I love holding a mug of warm coffee.
    2. What's your favorite season and why?
    I love fall. The colors are so vibrant and I love the warm days and cool nights.
    3. Is there any product that you couldn't live without?
    I don’t think so
    4. What are your hobbies, and how did you get into them?
    I don’t really have hobbies. In terms of free time, I love being outside whether it’s walking or running
    5. What is your most prized possession?
    A photograph of my grandparents when they were in college. It shows them young and in love and they were two of my favorite people who I miss a lot

    I ran 7 miles this week which is the longest I’ve run in a long time. Since we got some snow, I even got to snow shoe! I’m hoping this week goes as well.

    I think week 1 went well. I need to drink more water but that’s a struggle when I’m at work. Also, I think I need to pay more attention to my sodium intake.

    January 2022 Week 2 Goals:

    1. Fitness: 15 push ups/90 second plank/25 squats/1 minute wall sit twice a day; Ironheart Challenge; Butt Lift Challenge; cardio at gym at least M/W/TH after work, gym or at home video workout remaining days.
    2. Nutrition: Continue with plant/whole foods centered diet with no prepared/processed/packaged foods. Eat with serving size and calorie awareness, but no tracking or calorie counting. Eat two servings of fruit each day. Take adequate food to work so I don't go all day without eating. Try to have at least one meal a day that is high in protein.
    3. Get up when my alarm goes off--immediately! Follow morning and bedtime routines.
    4. Weigh in daily and maintain weight under 110.

    Sunday:
    1.All exercises and challenges completed. I couldn't find the motivation to go to the gym, so I did a Pahla 30/20/10 running workout. Not hard, but not too easy either. She is perfect for those days I don't feel motivated.
    2. I feel I was reasonable with calories and healthy choices, but my protein was probably too low, and I only had one serving of fruit...but I didn't set the goals until just now, so I will work on it tomorrow.
    3. Good on the routines--I am committing to the bedtime routine in a bit. I didn't get up when the alarm went off, but again I just set the goal.

    2. What's your favorite season and why? Summer. See question 1,lol.
    3. Is there any product that you couldn't live without? Nothing comes to mind...mascara maybe?
    4. What are your hobbies, and how did you get into them? Well, anything involving eating or drinking so that explains what I am doing here! Hiking, geocaching, traveling, live music, theater, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, board games, bowling, and doing literally anything outdoors in the sun.
    5. What is your most prized possession? I'm not really into things any more.

    6. Did you meet your first week goals? Pretty much, yes.Are you on schedule to meet your January goals? Yes. It was much easier than I expected to bounce back from all of the out of control holiday eating I did!

    As long as I stay on track and do something, I can feel good about it. Participating in challenges really helps motivate me since I don't have any specific fitness goals right now.

    8. How do you feel about your nutrition in WEEK ONE 2022? Struggles? Triumphs? It has been a little difficult to get back into the swing of healthy, controlled eating after the holidays, but I did it.
    My triumph was weighing less at the end of this week than I did at the beginning of December!

    Running, reading, just working out...I got into running because it was something I wanted to do to be fit and lose weight, but wasn't very good at, so I did couch 2 5k. I've just always enjoyed reading.

    2. What's your favorite season and why?🌞🌞 Summer, I love working in the yard, I love swimming in the pool and I just love the heat and how it feels on my skin.

What I used to do for fun was kayak, hike, play tennis and read . I got into hiking and kayaking because I love nature and joined a group. Tennis I got into when my family started playing at my mom's condominium and I then took lessons.

The beginning of last week was difficult because I was using new muscles and was extremely sore, but I got over it (squats) 😲 but now I'm enjoying them in little doses. I struggle a lot with balance workouts, but I'm working on it.

    πŸ…πŸ“πŸŠπŸ₯• I'm very pleased with my nutrition, I finally accomplished getting my water intake in. I'd like to get more veggies in, but buying lettuce and stuff for salads just don't last long enough (3 days) and I hate spending money on something that gets spoiled before I can eat it. I no longer drive so going shopping anytime I feel like it, isn't in the cards for me.

    Nutrition Share with the team: Week 2 challenge

    I'm very pleased with my nutrition, I stay away from processed foods, added sugar, refined breads, white flour, white rice and pasta. I don't drink sodas or alcohol. This week I've upped my protein since I'm working on toning and strength. I'm daily getting 61 ounces of water. My veggies include eating 1 1/2 cup of green beans every night and for lunch I either have my broccoli/kale pizza OR my homemade soups ( broccoli, asparagus or Turkey w/ carrots celery and onions) and I probably get two large salads in during the week. Wish I could eat a salad every dayπŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
    I do get my sweet tooth taking care of by eating fruit ( bananas, blueberries, strawberries and prunes)
    My main meal consist of : (Salmon, shrimp or Chicken) with sweet potato and green beans.πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹
