I did, Shelley!! It was 7.16 miles in 129 mins. The trip to the post office and back is 5.5 miles, but I did a little extra to get to 7.16!! It was beautiful this morning...over 100 degrees now, but this morning was really nice. Not too many folks out there, tho.
So, I'm reading the first Joe Pickett novel and will start on the third one tomorrow. They made a series about him...he is a game warden...and used the first and third novels for the story. I'll read them then watch. Wish I could figure out how to get the screenplays...I keep trying for the Reacher screenplays...but they aren't available yet. Rats!!! Okay, enough nonsense...must read now!!
Love you guys. Have a great weekend!

Shelley - can't wait to see your hibiscus in full bloom! It always reminds me of vacations in Bermuda...hibiscus everywhere. I think I got the money shot yesterday....not sure I will get a better bloom day than this;)kciyc1qfzzkg.jpg

So I've been really slacking on the food tracking (probably on purpose because it hasn't been pretty 😢 ) Going to try to get back to it.

I've eaten so much more than normal here on vacation since we have done lunch most days felt good to get back to my normal fasting yesterday. Will do the same today and tomorrow and get back into my groove...10 days left to get close to that July goal...

    Highest weight ever: 306 (2013)
    Ultimate goal weight: 160
    7/12 - 175.6
    7/22 - 173.2
    July goal - 165

You and me both, Karen. ugh!
I ordered groceries, ground coffee, and read. That's it. Maybe I'll walk tomorrow. We'll get Ronan in the morning so the kids can go look at new cars. Guess they need more room! bwahahahahah!

Okay, got 6.0 miles done in 112 mins. Could have done more, but I was trying to get home before the kids dropped Ronan off. Missed them by 15 mins. We'll see each other later. It was beautiful and breezy out there this morning. Loved it!

Karen they are beautiful. Wish they would last longer. I usually don't eat breakfast. So kind of a fast.

Chris that is a great walk. I think I will map out a walk for retirement

Well I got Covid. I am freezing and my throat is sore

Shelley, so so sorry you got Covid. :s I hope you are feeling better soon. That so sucks.
My trainer still has it. Haven't heard any update on Sara's MIL.
Okay, leaving soon on my walk.

    Shelley,

OMG. Virtual hugs and cuddles. Hope you feel better soon!

A news article estimated around 73% of the US populace has had Covid, some just didn't realize it. With testing now, it's easier to know. Hoping that yours is the kind that would've slipped between the cracks and is no worse than a minor cold or flu.

    Love you. <3<3<3

Shelley I pray this will be a mild case and you recover quickly. A close friend and her husband tested positive last week. Her husband’s daughter tested positive first. It appears it was going through her office. But also they had just return from Cancun and a friend they went with also tested positive. I guess we’re having a outbreak again. The numbers in Georgia are on the rise.

I can’t seem to get motivated. Struggling with food and exercise. Also the heat here isn’t helping. It’s miserably hot here in Georgia. Hopefully I’m doing enough not to gain but I seriously doubt I’ve lost anything this week.

No walking today. Cleaned house for our housekeeper. Later, the kitchen sink started gurgling...then the toilet in the front bathroom backed up and I as I plunged it, water and rocks and dirt started coming up thru the bathtub drain. Rocks and dirt came up thru the shower drain and the bathtub in the master bathroom, but the toilet in there drained out. OMG!!!!! The drain guy came out within 45 mins and fixed everything except the clean-up part!! What a day!

I'm working on increased activity and improving strength. Continuing with Tai Chi once a week, a surprisingly good workout. And today I moved boxes out of the pod. Lifting and carrying maxes out my strength and I am now gloriously sweaty and craving a bath.

I'm not drinking alcohol or eating high-glycemic carbs, but probably need to track caolories and carbs to really get under control again. My weight is hovering in the mid-190's. It's high enough to maybe scare me into buckling down.

Hope everyone has successes with their challenges this week.

Karen you are correct. Covid is back again. Felt like strep throat the first day. I have just started to get my appetite back. And don't beat yourself up. Heat has a way of zapping ones energy. Just don't give up. We got this.

Chris OMG! What an experience. What caused it to happen in the first place?

Paula glad to hear you are taking control again. Always feels good. Tai chi can be perfect for us women.

I actually had to have Covid to get under 150. I highly recommend any other program instead though. 147 this morning. Down almost 5 pounds since Saturday. Really sucked out muscle from me though. :'(

Starting to feel a little bit better now. So I will see how tomorrow goes.

Oh, wait!!! I forgot to tell you all...somebody tried to hack our credit card!!! $448 to Lowe's and .55cents to Dr Liu...whoever that is. Fifty-five cents??? This has not been a fun three days!
No walking. Blisters on two toes. Medical excuse.
    Love you guys.

Lowes might have been me, wink wink. But .55 cents! How stupid! Thieves will go to jail for nothing! Chris you should fast forward to August. Just skip the rest of the week.

Karen keep on logging. You are stronger than me.

    Night all

Shelley, when I first saw the Lowe's charge, I thought it was something Pat got...hadn't asked him yet when I got the FRAUD ALERT from the credit card company. Okay...never assume. Still haven't gotten our new cards. UGH!! We need the new card soon. Good thing we have a stand-by card which is still good!!
I did walk this morning...6.48 miles in 126 mins. Feet were cryin' but I had to get out there.
My trainer is covid free, so I'll see her tomorrow then not for a week cuz she's helping her son and DIL move to Tennessee. EGADS!! Not a place I'd want to live. That's for sure.
    Okay, must go now.
