Today were a few carbs over and I still feel I am not in ketosis yet. I am trying and have added walking, I am really enjoying it. The fresh clean fall air refreshing and the colors are beautiful, it's my me time. I hope that everyone is staying on track and looking forward to November.0

@Izzybella22 keep going. I’m having a bizarre experience with my keto this time round. Normally I can’t get myself into keto within 2 days but this time I’m struggling . I won’t let it bug me as much as I think I’m still dropping. Big weigh on Wednesday for soo we’ll see.0

I'm also on keto. My husband and I have been doing this for a little over two months. Electrolytes are super important, you can add in things like sugar-free Gatorade, bone broth, some salt in your water, etc. I do track my intake, not just carbs but calories as well. Trying to stay at a deficit.
Welcome to the journey!! It's also good to have more folks around going through the same thing!2 -
@cosmiccurves helloooo. How you been getting on?0

I started keto 3 weeks ago I lost 4 lbs, today I feel like I’ve gained. Not sure if I’m eating too much fat. No complex carbs just broccoli spinach zucchini I’m very confused how much protein carbs and fat I should eat a day. Well I know carbs need to be under 25-30 grams. Can someone give advice?0

What does it mean to 'feel' like you've gained? Does the scale day you've gained?
Weight fluctuations are normal, our bodies are more than 50% water, so short term water weight fluctuations can mask fat loss on the scale. Look at the longer term weight trend, at least one month/menstrual cycle, and don't let the fluctuations throw you off course. You just need to be consistent and patient.
PS no such thing as too much fat, unless it means you're eating too many calories.
As for protein, i recommend this calculator: https://examine.com/protein-intake-calculator/0
