Bill, hope you're feeling better. Get some rest if you can.

Dave, will you be flying to the Philippines for the funeral?

I was supposed to go to a party last night at DS's new house but decided last minute not to go when roads turned icy around 7 o'clock. Temps plunged from 50's to teens in a few hours; now it's -1º. I imagine rivers must be flooded from all the rain we got. If it was snow we'd be shoving for a week.

The young lady we know in the ICU got worse and was transferred to a Boston hospital. Leah was good friends growing up with our DD who lives on Cape Cod. Hoping she makes, it but sadly not looking good at all.

Finished making 12 key racks yesterday, using old piano keys, to give out to family at Christmas.

    Good Morning

Mike, I am so sorry to hear about your kids childhood friend in ICU. I hope they were able to transfer her in the weather you are having. I will be praying for Leah.

I think I am turning the corner a bit. The antiviral and the additional meds from the ER seem to be working. I took some tramadol yesterday afternoon so I could be a bit more comfortable and that really helped me rest better. The fog in my brain is lifting. Another exciting day ahead here in my little isolation area of the living room. I will need to send someone out shopping since it seems we are lacking almost everything.

Prayers continue for Rita and her family in the Philippines.

    Good morning gentlemen.

We will not be traveling to the Philippines. We don't have passports. Been saying we need to get them, for the last 15 years, or so. Rita is the second youngest of seven siblings. She has lost three older brothers, now. She still has one older brother, an older sister, and her younger brother - and a bevy of nieces, nephews and their children, too large to keep track of. We were last in the PI when Rita's mother died in 1989.

Glad you are doing better, Bill. Hope the progress continues.

Our church has two services, today: one at 5, aimed at families with young children, then a candlelight service at 7:30. We will be at the later service, as the choir is singing then. I have to be there at 6:30, so we can have a brief practice. Our last practice was canceled due to the ice storm.

It is almost 50 degrees, now. Feels positively balmy after the ice and snow over the last few days.

My hands and heart are praying for your DD's friend in ICU Mike. Such a hard moment in this time of year. Wow great key rack indeed!!!
Glad to hear youi are turning the corner a bit Bill.

Sorry to hear about Rita's older brothers. Sorry about the passport lacking. We have kept ours up to date and also use them as "Real ID" when that is needed to fly etc.
Glad to hear it is warming up in Tumwater near Olympia WA. Our son is driving down from Seattle today. Still 31degrees here in Beaverton near PDX this a.m. . Hard packed snow/ice on our local roads with zero hint of melting yet. Should warm up a lot tonight and will start warming some in the next few hours.

Best wishes to all. Stay warm and be comforted.

    Afternoon gents.

Praying for Leah. I missed why she was in ICU.
Glad to hear you are feeling better, Bill.
Very cool key rack, Mike. Creative.
1 degree this morning. Over a 50 degree drop from yesterday morning to this morning. Brutal.

    Be OP ;-)
