Didn't see that anyone has created an April Challenge so I went ahead and set it up, especially since it is already April for some folks!

Have not been posting, just busy, so many storms, with another again tonight.
Forgot to add:
I worked on a new streak this past month and went meatless. I still have eggs, milk and cheese, just no meat. Day 42 today, going to Good Friday.10 -
Got in a very wet and soggy 8.1km run in the rain this morning to bring my March total to 227.4/175km.4

Thanks for setting April @shanaber!
That is even more amazing @AlphaHowls that you can sustain that much volume with no meat!! SMH
I did just enough (3.2 miles) today to push me over the 200 mile mark for the month. Won't be doing that again (for a while at least)
See you all tomorrow in April7 -

146.38/115 miles completed for March
I ran 2.25 miles this morning to finish out March. I completed my streak and had my highest mileage month. It definitely felt like summer at 74°F. I'll have to look at my goal for April. I'm sure I won't have quite as high of mileage as this month. I enjoy doing the streak, but I am looking forward to just relaxing with my coffee in the morning.
See you all over in the April thread! Thanks for setting us up @shanaber!

I didn't post yesterday - just ran out of time. I worked all day, so ran on the driveway after I got home. I got delayed by an important phone call, so had limited time. I walked a total of 1 mile for warm up and cool down and ran for close to 15 min - 1.1 mile in 14:42 min.
Mom and I had planned to do some shopping today, so I set the alarm to get up early enough to get my run in before we left. But, I didn't get to bed early enough last night and really didn't want to get out of bed. After hitting the snooze a couple of times, I was very, very tempted to reset the alarm and wait until I got home to exercise. Finally, I told myself, "You know you are going to hate yourself if you wait and it's going to be so hard to run after having Mexican for a late lunch." So, I did get up and got myself on the treadmill. I'm so glad that I did because our day turned out to be a lot longer than anticipated. Details in the spoiler if you are interested.Instead of the shopping we intended to do, we spent the day driving around looking at possible new assisted living places for my cousin. I'm okay with where he is, but dealing with Medicaid, which he needs to afford it, is stressing me out and I can't get anyone to give me answers to my questions. So, I've decided to try to find a place that he can private pay and just drop the Medicaid. I have a little more research to do, but think we found one that will be great and is closer to home than where he is currently. We also went by to talk to him, and he's okay with moving. We put in a lot of miles and didn't get home until after 6:30.
I wanted to traverse at least 2 miles, but didn't have time for a lot, so I traversed 2.65 miles in order to make my monthly run/walk mileage be an even number. I walked one mile for warm up and cool down and did a run/walk for 1.65 miles. I did 5.2/3.8 mph in order to try to keep my HR between 120-130 bpm, but wound up throwing that to the wind at the end. The run was 20:30 min, 1.65 miles, avg pace of 12:25 min/mile (4.8 mph). Avg HR was 125 and max was 140 bpm.

Now to catch up with you guys for last couple of days.
Ouch @spl8 . So sorry about your fall. Don't overdo just to meet some arbitrary number. There's always next month. Having said that, I hope I will see later in the thread that you felt great today and had a good run.
Great running @ScienceofTeaching . That's a beautiful trail with all of those flowers blooming.
Congrats @chirs_in_cal on making your monthly mileage goal!
Great running this month @tarun_yadavA . I hope you feel better before leaving on vacation.
I hope you aren't getting sick @martaindale . A walk and coffee sounds great though.
Thanks for setting up next month's thread @shanaber !
Congrats on your highest months ever @Scott6255 and @kgirlhart . Amazing.
Great job @AlphaHowls ..raising the streak to over 15 miles and all of those you had to do Crazy Laps this month. I can't imagine!
Congrats to everyone who met their goals for the month and to those who maybe didn't but did their best! You're all awesome and inspiring.6 -
Just to wrap up the month since I haven't posted an update for a few days. I did get in a few runs and walks this last week and last Sunday's run was especially nice. Had some IBS issues the last few days of the month. I did get enough in to meet and surpass my goal of 50 miles for the month with 59.89 (should have done even a bit more to hit 60 at least!) but not the 70 I had hope for.
See you all for Spring running in April!4 -
My knee is still sore, so I didn't meet my monthly goal.
I'm moving on to April...4 -
