Up at 4, pitch dark and the birds are singing. Heading to RI today to help DS move a free Facebook Market piano to his house. Getting an early start to try and beat the heat. Wish it was in 65º and not 85º weather.

Bob, hoping they can treat the eye thing successfully. Will pray things go well.

Lee, safe trip, and speedy delivery.

    Good morning!

Its going to be another hot one in KC today. Yesterday an all time record heat index of 117 was recorded in Kansas City. Today and tomorrow are expected to be even hotter. For a while we had dew points over 80 degrees.

Prayers for all of the men in this group. Many of you are facing very serious medical challenges. I am remembering you all in prayer individually and as a group.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

My PCM says I have a pulled muscle in my neck and need to spend less time looking down at a laptop screen (your diagnosis, too, Bill). She prescribed some muscle relaxers. That's a relief. The lumbar disc issues are enough.

I thought of going for a hike, today, but I have too much to get done around here. I need to turn and mount the legs for a stool/side table I am making for DGD's birthday in 18 days. I also need to reinstall our drip system so Rita can hang her flowers around the back deck and front porch. Then there is the ongoing bench project at church. I try to do most of the work in the morning, when it is cool. We're not hot like most of you (80 degrees this afternoon) but it's still more pleasant in the cool of the morning.

    Good Morning

Dave, I am glad that they got the neck issue identified. You even have to be mindful when reading. A pillow behind your shoulders and head and one under your laptop or book will help a lot.

The news says another gut punch of heat is coming but the forecasts all say we will stay in the 80's so who knows? In a couple hours I go for my first set of hormone therapy injections as I begin my treatment program. More importantly I will hear the results of the last weeks scan which will help identify the scope of the cancer. On a lighter note, Heather retires tomorrow, so I will pick up an ice cream cake we were discussing last week. I am hoping I will have more energy today and will be able to get more done around here.

I know Lee is off to Deutschland but for those curious of my possible Squamous or lesser eye lesion they are doing a biopsy with margin plus some cryotherapy and covering with special healing membrane.
So in a sense both treatments. One can do biochemical treat and cryo alopne but then you don't know for sure what the the lesion is.

So sorry about the heat wave Bill. We are mostly escaping that for now.

Yup better to not overdo it Dave. Not that I don't. Hang in there.

I too am praying for all the men in our group and hope for the best with all the pains and anxieties.

    Cheers.

    Good Afternoon,
    VERY HOT AND HUMID,
Prayers as you start treatment Bill, I believe the Lord always deliveries; but may not be in our time.
Hope Lee gets to see new grandson before he has to return, pray DDIL and grandson are well.
Mike, believe it is way too hot to be moving piano.
Dave, glad neck issue is simple to adjust,
Bob, prayers as you start eye treatment.
Steve, keep cool as can be with heat indexes well over 100; we are dealing with same.

    Evenin ' gents

Still no baby. Air-bnb is nice. DS and DDIL just left after we went oit for burgers and then back to our apt for some birthday cake. DS just turned 34.
Sounds like a good plan, Bob.
Never knew KC was so dang hot.
Very tired and heading to bed.

    Be OP ;-)
