New...for the last time.

Hi, I'm Katie. 53.
I've been overweight my whole life. I've lost weight over the years, only to gain it back. I'm post menopause, so I expect this time to be more difficult.
So, I'm in a cal deficit, and walking about 12000 steps a day. I'm doing well! Keeping it up, happily, for about 10 days.
But, here's the thing.
I don't feel better. I feel big and tight. I feel like I'll never feel different.
I'm not asking for advice, but for understanding and maybe some friendly motivation.

    Welcome Katie!

There are plenty of successful post-menopausal women here. My own mother struggles to stay above Underweight because she is so very active and her meals revolve around high volume/low calorie food.

You sound both optimistic and depressed. I can relate, lol.

    Hi Katie xx
I had weird feelings the other day…I had it for like a week/1 week and a 1/2
    I felt really full…like bloated…Santa Claus full..

I couldn’t really eat for a few days…I sat looking at my sandwich contemplating whether to eat it or not…
It does pass…I feel great :)
When I have been on previous diets, I’ve felt very lethargic and just wanted to sleep
But I actually feel okay :)

Keep going :) you are doing great! Xx

I’m sorry you feel like this Katie. Keep going. Get to 30 days. See how you feel. Then do another 30 days. Promise you, you will feel better.
