Hi I’m new here trying to get my head around things trying to loose weight to be healthy started walking on my treadmill and counting calories I’m giving myself 1200 a day and trying to walk every day for an hour but I can’t seem to burn off enough calories to make it upto 1200 ? To then be in a deficit

How did you determine that 1200 calories was the right amount? I bet you a bagel that 1200 calories puts you in a deficit. If you walk for an hour at two miles an hour, that might burn an additional 200 calories which means you're even farther into a deficit.
