    Oh, gosh, what a world of answers you can receive from asking for "any" inputs! lol

    A great place to start is to open the different categories of posts (especially Getting Started, Health and Weight Loss, Food and Nutrition, Fitness and Exercise). At the top of each category will be a post listed as "Most Helpful". Inside this post will be links to existing threads which members and/or staff have agreed hold a lot of helpful information about a variety of subjects. Read these "most helpful" threads, and if you don't find what you want to know or are confused about something, by all means start a thread to ask away! But there's a good chance what you want to know is located in one of these threads.

    Also infinitely helpful to anybody offering suggestions is to know something about YOU. Personal details like age, height/weight, any restrictions you may have (dietary, physical, financial, lack of access to a gym, etc) can all help refine our answers to be more useful to you.

    Also, refining your own goals can help you set goals for yourself. Imagine the difference between "trying to lose weight" and "I want to fit in a size X dress for my cousin's wedding in June". The first is vague; the second gives a definite number to reach and a date to reach it by, from which we can give advice on how much to lose per week, how to reach that calorie number, etc.
