Accountability

Hello, I am back trying to make the long term life style changes to loose weight and become more healthy. I am 49 year old woman needing to loose over 100 pounds. I would love to find some accountability friends as I begin this journey.

I will be happy to be your friend. I am 54 and also need to lose 100 lb. And I am also back again. And again and again. Lol.

At the end of the day though you have to own your weight loss and you have to want this. So let's say you make a bunch of friends on here but then they disappear or don't log in for a few days or a week or a month. Will you lose your drive?

I'll tell you I always gave up. I've started and restarted so many times. And it's not because it's hard, it could be that my motivation wasn't really there like I thought it was. However I've been trying to do this for 15 years give or take. I'm getting too old to mess around with more time wasted.

I'm really making it my mindset exercise everyday to stay on track. To track my calories even if I overindulge and go over. To log in every day. To complete my diary everyday. This time it is part of my daily mantra. That I speak out loud. "I will stay focused on my eating plan I will weigh myself regularly. I will track and log my food faithfully." 🙂

It sounds like we have a lot in common. I been doing this on and off again diet for most of my adult life. I am getting too old where it is starting to effect my health.
