Good evening
I just wanted to say hello
I have allowed work stress and hypertension caused by that and depression that followed to let myself go
I am hoping this app and community will help me get my goal of losing 20 pounds to be achieved

Welcome Stephanie,
You can absolutely use MFP to help manage your weight. Set a reasonable deficit, and then log your food and activity honestly, accurately, and completely.
I hope you can find a way to reduce the stress too. Some people find exercise helps. As a bonus, it also helps with overall fitness, and it can be a really good way to support your weight management goals too.0
