How soon before working out should you load up on carbs? I use bananas as a pre-work out carb source

I think it’s simply a personal preference.
If I eat too close to a workout, I can get nauseous.
Too far out in the other direction and my energy is already flagging.
I’ve had experiment to learn the timing that works best for me, and what foods might trigger me, particularly during a hot class or while swimming.0 -
