Hi 👋🏻

Hello everyone, my name is Lyn, I’m 57 and quit smoking 1.5 yrs ago and gained 40 pounds. I started going to the gym and gained some more weight. There’s no secret at my house that I traded cigarettes for chips and chocolate. I used this app years ago when I did Atkins so decided to try it again. Now I’m doing the intermittent fasting thing but I’m not sure where I want to focus on the macros. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Have a great day😊

    Welcome to the community.

Congratulations on kicking the cigarette habit. That's probably the most healthy decision you could possibly make. Now that you've got that behind you, taking control of your weight gain is another great goal, and just like kicking the smokes, you can manage your mass. Just set good goals, and keep sticking to them even if you have days that seem like failures. Just keep after it.

Take some of the money you're not spending on cigarettes, stash them in a special place, and think of them as a piggy bank to buy some new clothes that will fit you when you're at your goal weight.
