Hello, and welcome!
That's a pretty wide question! Can you be more specific about where you're having difficulty?
Pretty much, the idea is to log your food, compare your typical results to the goals, and if there's a big, important gap someplace, tweak routine eating habits to improve.
You don't have to be exactly exact on macros every single day: Close, on average over a few days, is fine.
Protein and fats contain essential nutrients (essential fatty acids (EAAs), essential amino acids (EFAs)). "Essential" in this technical sense means our bodies can't manufacture those nutrients out of any other food intake, so we need to eat some. Carbs aren't "essentiaL' in that way, so we can eat more or less of those to preference, pretty much. The implication is that being persistently low on protein or fats is probably not a great idea, but being somewhat over on either is fine (within calorie goal).
If your primary goal is weight loss (or gain), the main important thing is calories, not macros. Macros are important for health, nutrition, athletic performance, energy level, body composition, satiation, and things like that. But their effect on body weight is indirect, via low energy (move less) or appetite (unable to stick within calorie goal). The direct mechanism is still calories.
I don't know whether any of the above helps, since I don't really know what your question is. If you can be more specific, I'm sure someone can help.
Best wishes!0
