Needing to get healthy pronto

Hello everyone, my sister introduced me to Fitness Pal, I hope it will help provoke me to get more serious about my health before it's too late, at least I'm a non/smoker & a non/drinker.

I just turned age 72 & oh boy do I ever feel it, I have on-going high blood pressure & high Cholesterol, I just started taking Statins today, I haven't been exercising enough either.

But I am now getting myself motivated in getting much healthier by mainly eating healthier foods & getting more exercise, I even bought myself a round mini trampoline.

I also have an Elliptical & an Absizer you sit on it with the back rollers supporting the back.

I now walk my dog a few blocks each day & I take my blood pressure every single day.

I have quite a bit of weight to lose, I have about 80 pounds to lose how about you???

    Welcome. I lost 50 pounds at 73. You can do it! I certainly emphasize with no longer being a spring chicken. I'm looking forward to water aerobics soon! My favorite form of exercise.
