Hello community

I am so determined to change my eating habits and get into shape. Sometimes this whole health kick is hard to maintain, so I’m looking forward to tips and motivation!!

welcome to MFP, @missboop23
My first tip? Change your choice of words. “Health Kick” implies something temporary, a brief fad or fling. You’re not a butterfly, sampling this diet, then flitting over to try that one.
You need to determine to commit to at least two months on MFP to see results. Commit to weighing and logging. Commit to reading the MFP University” page and learning how to use the app to make it work for you.“Motivation”? Fleeting. Are you motivated to brush your teeth? I doubt it, but you do it because you know it’s healthy. Same
“Determined”? Good choice!
Determine to make new habits, permanent changes, to stick to plan, to expect constant ups and downs and no be surprised by them.
