Good morning!
Hope your week is going okay @KateNkognito and you are feeling better.
Plugging along here. My colleague who I tend to sit and eat lunch with at the office is on vacation this week. Which is fine and I am happy for her. LOL But, I am finding that without someone to remind me to take a break I am just sitting at my desk during lunch and people see me so they come by and ask me stuff and sigh… Makes for a very long day. Today I am thinking of going out and walking around Target or something just for a break. Sigh. We shall see. Hot and humid today.
Looking forward to the weekend and for some time off next week.

TGIFFF!!!! This has been a loooong week! I am finally on the mend. The weekend is here. The weather is cool and rainy, which I like. Finally a weekend that we have no plans at all. Today's list looks quite manageable. It is going to be a good day.
@Meghan509 I like my office back in the corner for that exact reason. Nobody just walks by and says hi… though some days I would welcome the distraction. LOL

Good, glad you are feeling better and have survived the week @KateNkognito! Enjoy the cool. I am jelly! No plans for the weekend sounds good! We are having dinner at a friend's house tomorrow night and I need to check with my sister and family to see what they are up to, otherwise low key here.
Hot and humid today, but storms are coming tonight and then we will be less humid. Can't wait! 92 degrees F at the moment but feels like 100 degrees F! Screams!
Down 1.4 lbs for the week! Slowly getting there.

We had dinner at our friend's house on Saturday night and it was very nice. We had good weather, felt a little less humid, and no rain which was good. But, honestly doesn't matter because they installed a new structure outside their back slider and on top of their deck which is kind of a pergola but with screened in walls. They had an awning before that was there for twenty years but they had to replace it due to new siding being installed and age. We had dinner out there and it was really nice. No bugs and their indoor cat was able to hang with us, without fear of getting out or lost. :)
Work has been a little busy today but it should level out. I am off Wednesday through Friday, so got to get stuff done ahead of time.

I swear I wrote something yesterday, but I must not have hit post. 😕 It was that kind of crazy Monday. So far, today is much nicer.

That awning sounds awesome! I want something like that for our back porch. I really like being outside in the evenings, but in the Midwest the bugs get fierce this time of year.Off to do the stuff and things. Hopefully it all stays chill today. I don't have the energy for anything else. LOL

It was a busy morning but I feel like I got a lot done. Been working on an Asia trip for one of my VP's. When we email we hear back the following day, due to the time difference. Sigh. Takes getting used to.
Just had lunch and will tackle a few more things, otherwise not much else going on here. Looking forward to some down time. It will be humid and hot and some thunder storms here and there, but all good.
We got our new Ring camera all set up! So cool.

I am just chugging along. Still can't shake the last bit of this sinus/chest nonsense. I kind of want to go to the local ice cream shop and ask if I can stand in their freezer for a few minutes to clear out my lungs! LOL
Wednesday is always crazy. We have a retirement party today. It is the first of four in the next year. Lots of knowledge is going to be sitting on a beach soon.

I really like Thursdays. So relaxed and quiet and I can get things done. I love it! Plus today there are snacks and I am feeling fat so I am partaking. ☺️

FINALLY FRIDAY!!!! Plus I went to sleep at about 6pm last night and I slept until about 5 this morning with a few wake ups, but then right back to sleep.
I have stalled lately with weight loss, so I reset my plan on "that other" app. Back on track now. 😊
