Fitbit linked to MFP

Can anyone explain how the calorie adjustment on MFP works?
Is it purely for your steps or does it take into consideration all the other exercise logged in your Fitbit?
I have them linked but today I walked 12,000 steps, did a 30 minute hit session (recorded as 200 calories on fitbit) and 15 min cross trainer (100 calories) but the adjustment on MFP only showed I had 43 extra calories with all the exercise I had done.
Should I be manually adding any extra workouts that don’t involve steps?

If everything is working correctly (no bugs), and presuming the Fitbit integration hasn't changed recently:
- if you have your Fitbit fully synced, your calorie adjustment includes exercise. However, you wont see the exercise in your exercise diary.
- you need to factor in your chosen activity level in MFP: the adjustment is only for activity that goes beyond the level you selected in MFP. If you chose sedentary, 12k steps should give you a fair calorie adjustment, but if you chose highly active, it might not be enough to get a positive adjustment
