I typed this wonderful story about today...and when I switched over to my camera to take a picture...it was all gone.... Grrrr. Ok cliff notes.
Slept in until noon:30. 8oz water and protein power packed first meal. Worked in the garden. Learned how to turn METs into calories burned. Slowed down for self care, I was shaky. Showered ate the Mexican rendition of chicken soup and had Greek yogurt and after some rest, I started to stabilize.
Leaning to push myself again and remembering that self care is eating foods that match my goals, hydration, and listening to my body during the transition from no activity to more activity.
Hope this helps someone. Here is my gardening work.
