Heaviest weight: 175.4 in early 2013.
Original MFP starting weight (January 2018): 168.2
December 31, 2024 Weight: 158.0 (10-day average 157.2)
September 27 (Starting Weight for this challenge): 157.4 (10-day average 155.0)
October goal: Get below the top of maintenance weight range (153 pounds)
Ultimate goal: Stay in maintenance range between (absolutely 140 - 153 and ideally 142-148)I report scale weight and (ten day average weight), and I post on Saturdays.
September 27: 157.4 (10-day average 155.0)
October 4: 154.0 (10-day average 154.8)
October 11: 155.8 (10-day average 154.6)

November 1:Total loss for October: Down. Not much at all. Looks like only a third of a pound. I'm now down 2.5 pounds for the year. That really feels insignificant. That's what it is though.

10/19 β 185.2 β (Trend Weight β 183.7) Traveled yesterday so this is up from what I would have normally expected this week. Itβs been a strange week. At one point my weight went up 5.2 lbs overnight, then dropped back down. Water retention is real, folks. Especially with a heart condition! I know much of this is water retention yet again.

Iβve been dipping into the Halloween candy my daughter (who stays weekend with me) brings and undoing all the good Iβve accomplished during my meals. Iβm a night snacker so it feels like such self-sabotage after a good day of good meal planning. Iβve got to get a grip. Sugar is my addiction and addiction is often very ugly. Can I at least get back to my starting weight in October by the end of the round? 5 days to lose 1.6 lbs. I donβt think so but Iβm going to forge ahead and make as much progress as I can even in the face of Halloween goodies.

It was brought to my attention that after rigorous physical activity on Saturday, my bodyβs inflammatory response may have caused my weight gain last week.Β Β Iβve decided to change my weigh-in to Friday mornings before the weekend when I tend to do a lot of cooking, cleaning, and other activities that could result in inflammation and/or water weight. Maybe that will help me be less frustrated.
Though I didnβt make my October goal, Iβm ready to tackle November hopefully making it into the 170s!

πππππ 10/31 β 184.0 β (Trend Weight β 184.2) Once I got off the rails, I had a hard time finding my way back. I gained one pound this month instead of losing. Iβm disappointed in myself as I have no valid excuses. But although I sometimes give IN, I never give UP so Iβll move into November with head held high and hope in my heart. Nice job to everyone for showing up and doing your best. Your best is always good enough!

I forgot to weigh on the 25th as I was taking a slight vacation. I ended the month still at 186.2 which I love that I maintained while being a bit relaxed!!!
