Fiber Supplements

Does anyone have a fiber supplement they could recommend? Looking online is very confusing and misleading. Thanks in advance!

We’ve used Restoralax. It is insoluble fiber.

I take two fiber supplements around dinner because I want to feel full then and it is the highest potential for me to mindlessly eat. I take 1 tablespoon psyllium husk (use to be metamucil- but now I just take straight psyllium husk) I do this while making dinner. At the same time I set up 1 tablespoon of chia seeds and let soak until after dinner (you need to make sure these have soaked up the water- should have a glassfull after they swell). Metamucil tastes better and has a better texture to eat- but they add in extra stuff so I thought I would give the straight psyllium husk a go- you get used to it.

I take both because one is a good source of soluble (forms gel and slows down movement of food to the intestines- food source for gut microbiome (postbiotic)), and the other insoluble fiber (bulks stool and help keep you regular).

I find it difficult to hit fiber targets without them, and if I don't take them I feel constantly hungry- or at least find myself going back to the fridge after dinner.
