Realizing how much I've let myself go
Hello, I'm 34 years old and (this is embarrassing for me to admit) I'm 332 lbs. I've had this app on and off for years and when I really stick to it, I loose weight.
I've known this for a while now, but haven't really taken accountability. I've let myself go. And it's embarrassing and upsetting. My hubby and I started walking (5 years ago I could walk 2-3 miles fine).Now I can barely walk a mile without hurting. It makes me so upset because mentally I still think I can do everything I did when I was 100 lbs lighter. But seeing my limitations is a hard pill to swallow.
I do have mental health issues, but it's not an excuse. I want to better myself. I work in the medical field and I know what happens as you get older while weighting more. I hoping this time that I can stick to it. I do have my hubby and mom supporting me. (My hubby has lost over 200 lbs)
So I guess I'm just looking for others that have gone through this or are going through this. Of course I want to be able to fit into "normal" size clothing, but more importantly I want to feel good physically. I want to walk 2-3 miles again and not hurt.

I'm glad you are here! mental health issues are no joke. maybe taking care of yourself again, instead of letting yourself go can be some medicine?
I say that to you but also it's a message to me too. I have crippling anxiety on my worst days and I'm trying to reclaim myself after gaining 100 lbs in the last 11 years. We. You. Me. Can do it!
