    If you want to delete your own post, click on "flag" right under the post. Then click "report". In the pop-up that appears, scroll down and click "this is my post and I want to delete it". Then scroll to the bottom of the pop-up and click "send report".

    It won't disappear instantly. The report is sent to a queue where volunteer moderators or MFP staff will see it, and delete it for you. That usually doesn't take a huge amount of time to happen, but it varies depending on who is online and looking at the report queue.
