Roll Call, Friday, 11-14-2025
Many of us feel the need to remain connected by just signing in on a daily basis. We may have a lot to say or very little. We may say smart things, or dumb things. It doesn't matter if we're having a good day, a bad day...or something in between. We'll post our thoughts, our successes, our challenges, our insights (or lack thereof), and our support. We're here for each other. Together, we can do this!
This isn't about perfection...it's about perseverance: to persist in an undertaking in spite of counter influences, opposition, or discouragement.
Do one thing right today...whether it's drinking the liquids, eating the fruits and vegetables, taking the multivitamin, getting the dairies in, having the healthy oil, choosing whole grains...whatever.
Remember that, at its core, this plan is simple - eat a little less than you used to, eat a little healthier, be a bit more active. The rest is just finding the balance that works for you, and your friends on GOAD are here to share what's worked for them.
It's not always about the BEST choice. Make The Better Choice
Onward and Downward. Everyone is welcome!

Good morning everyone!
@Philtex suggested posting a Hebrew word, at least occasionally, following the start of my formal Hebrew language course (Ulpan) here in Israel. Bli neder (without making a vow), I'll put up a word here and there or maybe a short phrase.
Today's phrase that I think would be relevant for this group is:
אני צריך קפה I need coffee ("ani tzarikh kafe")
Plus, today's special treat—the rainy season has started here. Here's a shot off of our balcony (mirpeset):

Hey, all. I'm going to get my knee checked out today. I fell last Friday and didn't think much of it then, but instead of getting better it's gotten worse every day. This sucks!

Good morning.
Thank you for the photo and phrase, Steve!
Good luck, Brian. As someone who fell and broke my hand back in July, I hope they just find a deep bruise. :-)
