Does anyone have any recommendations for macro-friendly Asian-inspired recipes? It can be YouTube/Instagram creators, cookbooks, blogs, anything. I prefer Pacific Island foods, like from Japan, Polynesia, Philippines, and Guam.
If you are looking for something low carb google Cambodian beef lok lak. Skip the optional rice but include the optional fried egg. I don’t miss the carbs. Can be done with chicken or prawns.
omg that looks good! I’m going to give it a try.
If you are trying to eat lower carb it’s easy to replace rice with cauliflower rice in any Asian meal. Just blitz cauliflower in the food processor until it is the size of rice grains.
Unfortunately, I can't eat cauliflower. I just eat rice when I need the carbs
You can convert some of the carbs in rice to resistant starch which functions like fibre by cooling and reheating. Google resistant starch for more info.

I've used techniques similar to the Cambodian pepper beef mentioned, but using hoisen, sesame oil, and a little worcestershire on some beef stew meat or ground beef. I'll then add this to some 🥦 broccoli or other veggies and some protein noodles for a yakisoba inspired style dish. I've also leaned the sauce more teriyaki to go with some chunked chicken and pineapples.
I'm not sure what your version of macro-friendly is. But things can be added or taken away from almost any recipe or idea to make it more to your macro liking, and tastes!
