There are a lot of people here who like to work out, in diverse ways.

If you're talking diverse forms of exercise, you might like the Fitness and Exercise section of the MFP Community. There are threads there where people talk about their workout of the day, among others. The Goal: Gaining Weight and Bodybuilding section is where most of the in-depth discussion about strength training appears, though that's a less active area. (Some of the regular lifters post in the aforementioned Fitness and Exercise section, though.)

Another thing to look at would be the Challenges section, where there are number of different exercise challenge of different types to consider participating in.

No one is going to mind that you're Christian, as long as you don't mind if others are not (and don't make religious issues a continuing topic in otherwise general fitness-focused discussions). No one likes it when other people try to implicitly or overtly convert them from their own beliefs, y'know, no matter how well-intentioned. (It does seem like posters who bring up religion in nearly every post get fewer than average interactions.)

Personally, in 10+ years here and many posts, I've only mentioned my (non-average) metaphysical beliefs a handful of times in a reasonably applicable context, and never got any pushback about it at all.

Dive in and participate. It'll be fine . . . probably helpful for your health goals, even.

    Best wishes!
