Today is my birthday. I am 56 years old and I am honored to have lived this life. In some ways 56 years is a long time and in other ways it feels it has gone by in a flash. On birthdays we often think about birthday gifts - the good ones the funny ones the "bad" ones. I have had some great gifts. Five years ago my husband came home with a handmade quilt that he had ordered especially for me. All of my favorite colors and designs. During some work travels he came across a lady who made quilts special order and he ordered it 4 months in advance. It is the BEST quilt I have ever had.
