hi all!

My name is Laurel and im starting my weight loss journey for the billionth time in my life. I reached a new high weight and have been feeling so uncomfortable in my body lately I know its time to make a lasting change.

My biggest struggle is stress eating/binge eating and staying consistent. I am pescatarian, and enjoy lots of different movement like spin class, heels dance, line dance, rock climbing, and snorkeling! I am a beginner weightlifter but looking to start a better routine with that.

I’m 28, 5’5.
SW: 200lb GW: 140-150lb

I’d like to work on reducing my body fat as well. From 40% to 20%ish

I am looking for accountability buddies with similar goals/interests. I’m in the Hawaiian island time zone :) looking forward to meeting and supporting y’all!

I am a 29 y/o woman in a similar position. I’m also looking for an accountability partner to help stay motivated and kick the binge cycles. Happy to chat more!

    Hi Laurel! I'm Lauren!

    I'm 5'2 and 22 y/o

SW:205 CW:169 (as of today! Yay!)

As someone who has also started their journey a million times over and struggles with consistency I have a little suggestion.

Do it YOUR way. A lot of people will tell you in the beginning to do it for the right reasons or a specific way. But honestly; any motivation is good motivation in the beginning.

I think the reason this time "stuck" for me is because: I had a point to prove. To myself and others.

I also try and stick with the harm reduction method. I try and do things each day a little better than the day before. And I try to make balanced decisions based of what I want and need. Balance is key.

Wishing you all the success! 🫶

I have similar goals and would be interested in having an accountability partner as well.

I started taking things a lot more seriously toward the tail end of 2024 and stuck with it throughout all of the past year up to now, losing about 30 pounds through the duration and reaching 15% body fat. I'm still looking to take things further to get to my ideal body composition.

I'm 28 y/o and male. I've noticed I have a lot more success with sticking to long-term goals when I added specific objectives or forcing factors for accountability in other areas (like with learning to play the piano). I think I could benefit from a similar approach with my fitness and do the same for others.

    Hi 👋

I’m very similar to yourself Laurel and can relate with your struggles, I too have my food struggles and have reached a new high on the scale. I want to get back to posting daily and focusing on being kept accountable - I’m looking forward to reading everyone’s journey.

Current weight: 189lbs (although I fear this might be more - the great reveal in the morning 😬😫).

    Goal weight: 135lbs

My main focus for 2026 is keeping to plan / my logged numbers and remaining in a calorie deficit.

My main exercise is walking, but I bought a weight band that I’m about to start their ‘stay strong’ program three times a week.

Your activities sound fun! I’m really looking forward to getting back to spin class once I’m fit enough to manage - my goal is 155lbs then I’m booking the class.

    Here’s to a fab 2026 - let’s get this!!
