LOOKING FOR MOTIVATIONAL AND SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY
My name is Jalissa and I'm 30 years old. Restarting my health journey trying to navigate motherhood, grief, and marriage at the same time. I don't have much of support system. Hopefully, I can find people to help me hold me accountable and vice versa.

I’m not sure how I can help Jalissa It sounds like you’re going through a lot- so sticking to a routine can be difficult. I’m trying to have as much fun as I can as I start this tracking system.
One thing I’ve noticed is that I’m not sure how the number of calories given as one’s goal for the day is arrived at as the number in this program is over 200 cal more than my BMI, (which would be very hard number to attain). I’m trying to see if by taking in 100 cal less than the default number given to me by the program (while adding calories for the exercises done) will be enough to lose weight at the default rate of half a pound a week.

It’s all about taking a step. This is going to sound like a lot of woowoo, but honestly you will only reach your goal at the end of a whole bunch of steps. Some are headed in the right direction, some not, but over time they’ll add up. Hugs to you, honey.
