How's it going so far? Well, I hope.
One great way to find friends and get support here is to join in one of the support, accountability or challenge threads here in the Community part of MFP. Most of those are concentrated in the Motivation and Support or Challenges sections, but there are some spread around in other parts of the Community, too.
I'm an MFP old timer (10+ years, weight loss, then maintenance since) and an old-timer old timer (now age 70, after losing weight at 59-60).
I'm cheering for you to succeed: If your experience is like mine, the quality of life improvement that results is more than worth the effort it takes to accomplish.

Hi welcome back! Used the app a few years ago for a while then stopped too. I’ve been working on my weight for the last year. Despite exercising consistently for 4 days a week, the loss has been super slow and I know not tracking my food intake is the issue. It’s worth it. I’m down 1.5 pounds since I started using the app again. I hope you find it useful and a good tool in your journey as I have! Good luck and blessings to you as well! You got this!
