probably like a lot of other people i’ve been told to use AI more at work… and that’s got me thinking about where in my personal life it’ll make a difference. For me lifting is the obvious spot since I want to bulk and am still sort of getting into it
In the last 2 months I’ve tried
- “AI personal trainers.” So many claim to generate the perfect workout for you, etc. Most feel like basic templates for push/pull/legs I could come up with myself
- Form feedback apps like formcoach. I like the idea but the quality is hit or miss
- A fitness AI called jack(ed). that gives you info from legit people like jeff nippard and andrew huberman. Has some limitations (no memory) but higher-quality answers and probably my favorite so far
- General Chatgpt for random stuff (new exercises, recovery tips, etc.) Memory feature is really good. Advice is often good but often generic
Overall feels what I’ve tried feels like it can help with small stuff but not at full personal trainer level. What AI are other people using?
