The fall is a big time of renewal for a lot of people, even if your life has nothing to do with school. It’s a great time to review your goals including Non Scale Victories. So let’s motivate each other by posting here and sharing ideas, challenges, and progress. Let’s go September!!

I’m walking in the wild today, on a gravel road. We will see how far I get.
I desperately need new shoes too. Finding them in my size is quite the challenge however, too small for adult sizes but too big for the kids sizes 😫

Weight loss and maintenance are my main goals but I’ve found a new way of doing strength training that I’m really excited about, so I’m aiming to cement that habit in September.

Welcome to new folks! I plan on doing some strength training this evening or some other form of exercise. Terrible insomnia is making it hard to stick to the plan.

Thank you @MercyRoth for setting up this thread for September ~

Did a high energy Zumba class on Monday and going again at 10:30 this am. My body is sore! But guess that’s the price to have fun and start seeing wanted results.

Hello,

Long-time MFP user (3 years consistently) but first-time posting! I'm G (she/her) - I'm in my late 20s and I'm all of 5'2"!

SW: 65kg (March 2023)

CW: 52kg

GW: 46.9kg

Lowest I've managed is 50.5kg. I have hit a slump lately where I'm just fluctuating around this weight.

Also navigating being AuDHD and trying to lose weight but avoid excessive restriction (which I'm prone to given a history of an ED).

Currently having around 1380kcal a day after sticking to 1200kcal a day for 3 years. I use the gym 1-2 times a week, walk around half an hour a day, trying my best! Need some encouragement:)

Started Sept at 156.5, same today. I am happily keeping steady. Had a checkup Monday in NYC, all my counts are good and go back in a month. Headed to the beach next week and planning light meals, long walks/hikes.

Laundry all day today so stairs will be my workout LOL

Michieb125

Have adjusted my daily calories for a deficit this month. And will be stricter with avoiding nighttime snacks.

I managed approx 2km on my walk in the wild, it definitely worked different muscles in my ankles.
I really need to crack back into my deficit and keep up my hydration.

It’s early spring here and my chickens have started hatching babies already. 5 little fluff balls are running around causing mischief. They’re so cute.

Horrendous insomnia continues, making it hard to eat healthy. I just want potato chips. Maybe tonight I’ll try going for a long walk before bed

I'm feeling a bit frustrated. I finally found a gym that I thought would work for my needs, went through the whole process of signing up, and it turns out this gym is just simply NOT going to work out. There's a lot of reasons why, but now I'm back to the drawing board to find something that will work in my new, small-ish town. I'm not on the schedule I thought I would be. Hoping I can figure something out quickly.

I’m so sorry about the awful insomnia as that can interfere with mindset.

A nice walk sounds great and maybe follow up with a warm shower to help wind down.

Michieb125

That sounds disappointing….maybe you can find some walking paths in the new town to help. Best wishes.

Have a wonderful vacation @tishsmith101 - enjoy!

Had 200 calories left after dinner so I ate graham crackers with a movie and herbal tea. I want to stop all food by 8:00. Too close to bed not too bad of a choice.

So Happy for you @MercyRoth!
I heard from another MFP member how steady nightly sleep (7-8 hrs as example) supports weight loss. I’m a believer.
