Fall is in full swing! Here's to cooler weather and comfy sweaters!
Today has really felt like a Monday! I have gotten a lot done, but I feel like I have been going a million miles an hour. I am going to "steal" an extra soda from my boss's office. (He keeps a stash for occasions such as this. LOL) I have had a million calls and side quests today, BUT I just got done with my "have to" list and have moved several things over to the "waiting on someone to get their lives together" list.
@Meghan509 I am glad you have a new system that will, hopefully, make your life easier. The weather here has been rainy for the whole week and I LOVE it! I could totally move to Seattle and be happy year round. I hope you get a nice sunny weekend!
I have to run. I just realized I forgot to run one of my monthly reports! OOPS!

It is a tad humid for my liking today (hence my frizzy-ish hair) but it is cooler and mostly cloudy here. Chance of showers later but manageable and not a Nor' Easter! LOL
LOL @KateNkognito I love how your boss keeps a soda stash! My BF used to work with a guy who carried a briefcase to and from work all the time. This is back in the 90's when nobody carried a laptop or really anything back and forth. Turns out the guy used the briefcase to hold a box of crackers! He said once they knew they used to ask him to break them out occasionally. LOL
Work has been slower this week. A couple of things here and there. Loose ends to tie up. Otherwise, not too bad. I will take it. Feeling like I am not shot out of a cannon is a good thing!

Sunny and 72 degrees F here at the moment. Working from home and wearing my comfortable hoodie and sneakers today!! Checked the weather and it is still looking decent for the weekend. Chance of showers later today but nothing crazy. Rest of the weekend looking good.
Work is very quiet today and I am happy about that. I need a low key Friday. Been so crazy recently.

Planning to head out to the gym mid day for a walk on the treadmill. We couldn't get there last weekend at all due to the storm and prepping for that and just not wanting to deal with heavy rain and wind. No regrets. LOL
Weekend plans are low key. Grocery shopping, a little cooking, and the usual household fun stuff on deck. Also planning to stop by the local Goodwill this weekend to drop off a bunch of clothing donations.

Happy Friday! I have been getting a LOT done today. I told myself that if I can get all my stuff done and my desk cleared, I can leave early… that's not going to happen, but it is good motivation! LOL
The weather is BEAUTIFUL today. The sun has come out, but it is still nice and cool. I am going to make sure to open all the doors and windows on the house and change the air this evening.

Happy Monday! I am really not feeling it today. Feel like the weekend went by too fast and I need an extra day, but I digress… Here we are! 😐️ Speaking of extra days, I am taking Monday, October 12 off as a vacation day. Some folks are off since it is Columbus Day or Indigenous People's Day, whatever we are supposed to refer to it these days. (I don't know). LOL
Hope you got to leave early @KateNkognito!! I find that even leaving just a tiny bit early makes all the difference in traffic around these parts! Less traffic, less stress, easier all around! Hope the weather was nice for you too.
Weekend was quiet here. We got all the old clothing dropped off at the Good Will. We also picked up a new comforter set for our master bedroom so we donated the old set as well. Got the grocery shopping done and a little cooking too. Yesterday we took a ride to TJ Maxx and Marshall's to try and find some more sweats and a winter jacket for BF. Since he has lost so much weight he pretty much needs a full wardrobe refresh. 🙂
Next weekend on Sunday afternoon (good thing I took Monday off!) we have plans to go to a restaurant in NY to have lunch and celebrate one of BF's friend's birthdays. His friend actually turns 60 today. He is the first of BF's friends to turn 60. BF will turn 60 next August. There will be eleven of us having lunch and then we'll head over to one of the other friends house to have cake and hang out for a bit. Looking forward to that! 😊
The weather has been pretty good here too. Definitely feels like fall. Today it is around 60 F or so and sunny. Yesterday was a little drizzly but the rest of the weekend was nice.

I am taking Friday off because I get 8 whole hours all to myself on Saturday and I have a whole list of things to do. But I want to do "Saturday" stuff on Friday so I can do all the extra on Saturday.
On a much more somber note, I found out yesterday that a very good friend's 11 year old son was hit by a car this last weekend and didn't make it. She and her husband both used to work in the same office I do, so I had to be the bearer of bad news today. I talked to her briefly yesterday. She is absolutely broken. That call will haunt me for a long time. If you are the praying type, they could use all of them they can get right now.

Traffic was back to being a pain in the butt again but the good news is the weather is nice. Sunny and very cool today - mid 50's F. Supposed to be a nice week with no rain until Sunday night. I'll take it.

People started first thing with shenanigans this morning. Sometimes I just tilt my head and wonder how that went in their head before they did/said it.
We are back to warm weather and the humidity is absolutely gross. Went on a walk with a coworker and we both came back a wee bit soggy.
I am waiting to see when the funeral is going to be. It isn't terribly far away, so I will probably just drive.

Sounds like you guys got the heat and humidity. It is very cool here and pretty much no humidity. Almost fully mid day and it is 55 degrees F and sunny. Second day in the row that I am wearing my winter coat to work. Sheesh.
This post has a complaining vibe to it. LOL Sorry about that.
Good news is I am wearing a new pair of pants that fit nice and are comfy.

Sunny and 69 degrees F here. First time this week that I didn't need a winter coat when I left the house! I will take it.
Typical day here. Trying to find flights for one of my folks to travel to two cities in Europe later this month or in November and they are coming up at $15,000 for Business Class! Really!? What in the world is going on. LOL These airlines are out of their mind. Sigh.

Working remotely and plugging along today. Weather is really pretty at the moment. Sunny and 67 degrees F. Typical fall day for southern Connecticut.
I took Monday off so I will most likely not check in. If I don't have a computer in front of me, I tend to forget. LOL 🙃
Typical weekend on tap. Grocery shopping, laundry, all that fun stuff. Plus we have a get together on Sunday afternoon with friends that I am looking forward to.
Weather is looking decent for the next few days aside from some rain on Sunday PM. I see that darn hurricane is headed up the coast by FL, AL, etc. Positive vibes for all. 😔
