 Got into the car the other day, and to my surprise the steering wheel wasn't rubbing my stomach! WooooHoooo! I'm Chris, and I have always had to put the seat all the way back and the steering wheel up(tilt steering)! Lose some more and I can move the seat up some or tilt the steering wheel down. I'm still a newbie here, been working on my weight loss for 2 months now. I am proud to say that I have lost 67 lbs. so far since I started using MyFitnessPal to help track my calories! My sister told me I have lost a little more than what my niece weighs. (Wow!) When you think about that it is mind blowing to think I have shed a small person. It hasn't been all downhill, I've had some plateaus and ups. They do seem to make you want to reevaluate the whole losing weight thing, but that's just part of the journey. So I think of my wife and daughter, and that keeps me going. Well, I still have a ways to go to get down to my first longterm goal (300 lbs.), then I think I'm gonna set a new longterm goal. Somewhere in my ideal BMI weight range (129 to 174 lbs.). Until then, I'm gonna work on taking a little off here, and a little of there! A penny here, a nickel there, a dime next, soon you have a dollar. I look at my weight loss that way. All the little weight loss adds up to big end weight loss! Keep up all the hard work everyone, it will pay off in the end!

Congrats on the weight loss so far and if you stick to it, before you know it you will have before and after pics posted and remember the time when you had to have the seat all the way back!

Thank you all for your support and encouragement! I am happy to have found something that will help me, and not have to look at options of surgery, or lots of different meds. Using MFP, I believe will be one of the tools that will help me to get rid of type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, as well as weight!

Honestly I think surgery is horrible. It doens't teach the people how to eat right, or how to control their eating, so some of them had to have a second gastric bypass or just have gained all the weight back because they haven't learned the right way to eat. What you are doing is working, and even though it may be slower than surgery or a pill, it will def pay off in the long run!!
