Thank GOD.
I've TRIED to eat that many times a day and I can't. 3 times a day is PLENTY for me with a snack *sometimes* if I'm hungry.
Now, if I was diabetic, I could see this method of eating every 2-3 hours. But I'm not.

If others can eat that many times a day, that is fantastic, but working midnights I don't have time to eat like that. I'm asleep throughout the day, and when I'm working, I only get ONE lunchbreak, so I can't push food in there either. I'm eating the calories I'm supposed to, that to me is what is important.0 -

The important thing to remember with weight goals is daily caloric and macro goals.
I used to do 5 - 7 meals a day, and got so tired of it.....
Now I am currently eating in an 8 hr window every day, and fast the other 16......and I enjoy it.0 -

I've found what works best for me is eating every 4 hrs or so. Not necessarily because it keeps my metabolic fires burning, but because it keeps me from getting so hungry and then eating every calorie-dense thing in sight. I've also found that eating a small protein snack before going to bed helps my weight loss (as long as it fits in my daily calorie goal).
