SO MANY BULLIES!
I'm on your side OP!
Good luck on your gurney!!
BWAHAHAHAHAHA! If she's running outside in -40 you got that right.
That was punny!:flowerforyou:
Oh hey its the 3rd Amber from the keytone thread the other day!!
The gurney comment I made is actually a joke from the OP.
Because she, like me and some others, hate the word 'journey'.
And thus 'gurney' came to be0 -
My husband flat out said that if I get any hotter, then he would leave me.
So now Im stuffing my face with donuts. Real men like curves.

Haha! Yup, the prudish one who wouldn't show her butt.
Whoever first came up with it, it was especially situationally appropriate for this thread.0 -
OP, you're very quiet. Are you packing your bags to leave, or has hubby finally locked you in the basement?0
-
He might just be genuinely concerned about your health and doesn't want you to come down with a cold or overexert yourself.
Don't get upset, just keep doing your thing.0 -

She froze her ta-tas off on that run. And is now in the ER.
Her boobs are in my prayers0 -

No, not the OP's subsequent comments, the posts in response to OP on page 1. (e.g. "Just Break Up" "leave him for me")
But also, part of it is also being in the forum for a while. You get to know the other posters and their style before too long.
A while back, I posted a thread about how my BF commented that the grocery store cashier was pretty and I thought that meant he was calling me fat and ugly and was "all upset" about it.
Not only did an awful lot of people take me seriously, but among the rational people telling me I was being ridiculous, there were quite a few who said he was abusive.
I mean, come ON. People really read something that dumb and thought it was serious? And to help them along, I continued posting really over-the-top, ridiculous things and they still didn't get it.
I think too many people take the world in general far too seriously.
Ahem

lol... my hubby says snide stuff all the time to me. Probably because I look good and dudes are checking me out.....0

normally I would say sabotage, but -40 windchill does sound frikkin scary to run in, so he could have been genuinely worried for your well-being.
I agree. You can get sick from running is cold weather. You don't have to wear a parka, but a tank top and running shorts is not a good choice in -40.
If this is your only sited account of so-called sabotage, then I would say he is not trying to sabotage your weight-loss - he probably is concerned about your health and safety. On the other hand, if this is just one of many displays of contempt or lack of support, then you guys need to have a talk. He might be feeling insecure. Just reassure him that you don't plan on leaving once you lose the weight, and maybe encourage him to do it with you.0 -
Overreaction of the year award goes to the OP.0

ummmm . . .not to be rude but it just sounds like he was trying to make up for you lack of concern. At least put a hoodie and hat on and yes gloves would help, man if that is the worse thing he has said to you I think he deserves husband of the year, you should be concerned if he doesn't care that you go running when it is that cold without putting more eon0

Sounds like you are a total *****.
A man cares he is in the wrong.

I think he is just worried. I run in the cold and I wear a hat, gloves, definitely a coat and layers. If I get too warm I take my gloves off and put them in my pocket, then coat and tie around my waste.
-40 degrees is VERY cold so I can't imagine you would get warm enough to take the gloves off. You will warm up when you run but not easily in that weather. Appreciate that he cares because it would be worse if it was the other way around. Good Luck!!0
