    When I broke up with my ex I ended up doing it over the phone, I intended on doing it in person but we'd had a conversation a couple of days before where she said that if I was going to finish it she'd rather it done over the phone as couldn't cope with it face to face. Was I happy with this, no but I didn't want to hurt her any further so there you are. Bumped into her since and she was cool about it.

    My fiance and partner of 3 years left me by text. He just left our house one day and never came back. I ended up having to just give all his stuff to his friends for them to pass on. What a wimp!

    Be a man and tell her in person. I know it's not the same situation, but even so, sending a text is so impersonal and harsh.
