    Finally - a great starting pointing! I couldn't agree more... especially about finding what works for you! And let me add... what works now, may not work 6 months or even 6 weeks from now. Be patient and learn to tweak your calories, food or exercise throughout your weight loss -- and maintenance!

    This is really important. You keep learning as you progress.

    I cut out cow's milk in favor of almond milk...at one point. Then I decided that the protein was worth the calories again.

    I moved through different mindsets as I found a weight loss method that worked for me, and then shifted to maintenance. And I've even moved to a stage that I consider to be "after" maintenance...
