I had joined in 2013 and been in and out of MFP never really sticking to logging in everyday...and therefore restarted over and over again...until this year. I have seen those people who joined at the same time as I did make their success stories and I found the one thing in common with all their success stories was that they logged in consistently in this community, whether they logged their food or not, they were committed to logging in each and every day and they have achieved their goals. I keep kicking myself because I could have been one of these success stories...but my newest NSV is I finall stuck to it and I am now 51 days and 7kilos lighter

Ran my first continuous 10 mile run yesterday afternoon. Took me 78 minutes. Looks like my goal of a half marathon in 90 minutes is doable!https://www.strava.com/activities/3099061033

I’m embarrassed to admit I fell off the wagon. Gained 20kg back, almost all the lost weight.
But I drew a line in the sand a couple of weeks ago. I’m eating healthier, not perfect but much healthier. I’ve turned away from sweets in the kitchen.
Today I went for a run, W1D1 of C25K. I’m starting over and it was hard, as I expected. My real NSV is that when I got tired, I thought “bloody hell this is going to be tough.” Not once did I even consider not making it through or question whether I’d be able to finish. A surprising reminder from the sheer determination and mindset I grew on my last weight loss journey.
The quote I keep coming back to:
