I can now watch America's Next Top Model, without it having a negative effect on my self esteem or being triggering of my past eating disorder.
I've come to truly, truly love and appreciate my own athletic curves.
They're all beautiful, don't get me wrong, but I'm happier to stay muscular.17 -

I’ve been on this journey for 9 weeks now and have lost 18lbs so far.
People are beginning to comment which is great.
My favourite NSV so far happened the other day.
My wife brought me a smart jacket for Christmas last year, and I was so embarrassed when it didn’t fit! I couldn’t even zip it up. On misplacing my larger jacket I have been wearing for years I looked at the one she gave me and just thought..., I wonder!
It fits, in fact, I have room in it.
My wife and I are both delighted 😀27 -
According to 3 different exercise calculators, I burned 1100+ calories in my 82 minutes of cardio this morning.16

Sort of bummed yesterday when I weighed in for the week, no loss. Then today when I dressed I pulled up a pair of jeans I’d bought about five years ago. They fit better today than when I originally bought them. Wore them all day comfortably. Every few weeks I can bring an old favorite back into my wardrobe. It’s great incentive!24

I did well exercising, tracking, and calorie budgeting all week except for yesterday due to a friend's birthday celebration, ladies movie night out with movie theater, and late night dinner . I ate enough for 2 people my size but when I weighed myself this morning I lost 0.1 lbs so unaffected in my weightloss journey.8

I had drinks at a friends house last night and stuck to 3 glasses of Pimms and diet lemonade. And instead of chocolate after I ate the fruit out my drink 🍹😋8

I don't need the extender any more on the new, smaller bras.9

That is wonderful! Congratulations!3 -
Since my wife sees me almost every day, she really hasn't noticed all the changes. This weekend I went camping with our son's Boy Scout Troop after I recorded my lowest weight this Century. LOL. When we came home Sunday, she finally saw the difference in my face and was surprised at how much change there's been.22

My workout from Friday which I will be trying again today. After months of being down due to injuries and illnesses I finally felt like I could start pushing myself again. We'll see what today says.

10 double renegade rows with 20 pounds
30 double hammer curls w/20 pounds
12 burpee jumps
3 minutes on the heavy bag.
3 sets x 12 reps:
Standing lat push downs
cable rows inside
cable rows outside12 -

There is a lovely elderly couple that I see walking together when I am on my to the station. I used to see them when I walked, then when I cycled and now when I run. The gentleman stopped me today and asked if I was the man that used to cycle and when I said yes he said "Wow, you have lost so much weight!"
Nice when a stranger recognises it!25 -
I love myself and I really, really REALLY like myself too. For years and years I didn't--I do now and I'm so glad I do!21

Today I was surprised by myself, I has able to be under my calorie limit and do some home workout, even if in quarantine (total lockdown in Italy). I'm working a lot and going out of my mind for not being able to get out of the house, but I've not eaten out of stress or boredom. Huge step forward!

My husband died 3+ years ago and I have several of his things that I wear. His pants with 38 waist are definitely LOOSE. Not to worry -- he had 36s, too. I feel a bit safer and less alone when I wear his things. His wedding ring that he gave me to wear when I was expecting our son is also quite slippery and I can add my own now.40

I got knee socks for Christmas that I can comfortably wear pulled up, without rolling the tops down or feeling my circulation cut off.16

I managed to stay within my calorie target while traveling Sunday and Monday, and while working from home yesterday! Yay, me!19
