What's Your Most Recent NSV

I am wearing a medium shirt that I haven’t worn in over 10 years. My husband saw it on me and all he said was Wow. 💃🏿37

Apparently losing 45 pounds helped with the urge incontinence. For which I am very very grateful.24

Well, don't know what an NSV is....but it sounds like you're happy. Congrats!1

I have been a soda addict for years - decades really. I used to drink numerous cans of Coke a day, within the last couple of years I switched to Coke Zero which was a step in a better direction. Sadly, I didn't really back off on the quantity that I was drinking and I was still consuming A LOT of soda in a day. Since I started taking control over my choices and my health, I've been drinking more water and I've noticed...I haven't had a soda (nor craved one) in 4 weeks!! It wasn't an intentional choice, it just kind of happened - it's funny how some things fall into place when you focus on the big picture.30

An NSV is a non-scale victory. This thread is inspirational!

It's only sort of a NSV because it's directly related to my weight, but I knocked out a set of five chin ups this morning. Haven't done that in years, and it's all due to getting progressively leaner (17% BF down from 25% BF).20

That's quite impressive work! One-rep maxes are tough as we get older because it's easier to injure ourselves and it takes longer to recover. I'd focus more on a three rep max or a five rep max and use a 1RM calculator. Good job!4 -
My most recent NSV: going on a road trip with a friend...in my "BEFORE" days that would have meant stocking up on M&Ms and Twizzlers when we stopped for gas, but THIS time I planned ahead and brought organic snap peas and Turkey Chomps to snack on! Woo Hoo! Felt so good!20

Yay for planning ahead to avoid pitfalls! I'll bet you felt better too, eating that stuff. (Aren't Turkey Chomps great? I love the things.)
My NSV for today was being kinda "hormonal" and still logging everything and keeping under my calorie max.9 -
Went out for pizza and wings- ate 4 wings and 2 pieces of flat bread pizza + a Mic Ultra. I was only +115 over my calories for the day because I was careful all day. I could have, and definitely in the past would have eaten more but tonight it was just enough. I have a friend doing another program and she will not consider eating out because of it. I personally cannot live that way. Proud that I could eat without over indulging.27

My jog today - fastest 2 miles I have ever run and probably the fastest mile since middle school.26 -
Got in my jeans today. Been my goal for 3 months. Love it.32

Have ridden over 2200 miles on my mountain bike so far this Summer.25

@nighthawk584 That is VERY impressive! One thing to get that many miles on a road bike, but a whole other category to rack up that many miles on mountain.6

A couple of them today - I can reliably get into size large shirts now, when I used to have to wear 2x. Also I have been doing a lot of work around the house and I can happily stand for a long time now, and walk around doing stuff for a long time, without having to sit down to rest my back every few minutes. This may sound funny but often I end up cleaning up around the place just for the pleasure of not being in pain!31

Yesterday was my birthday. My birthday marked my 888th day of my walking 10K streak. How lucky can you get?44

My mum bought me a size 6 skirt and it fit! Granted it was from a brand that notoriously runs big, but the illusion of it made me feel pretty good32

Hubby and I were folding clothes... he picked up a T-shirt I had just bought (cute graphic T from Tractor Supply, $2.50 on clearance!). I saw this funny look on his face and was trying to decide what he was thinking. He slowly set it in my pile as he looked at me and grinned. He didn’t know who’s pile it went in - mine, or our 11 year old daughters!30

My NSV today...the mirror.
I've always hated the mirror and what I saw when I looked in it. Today I walked by the mirror, accidently caught a glimpse of myself and I came back, paused, took a second look and smiled. Not because I'm happy with how I look - but because I'm happy with some of the changes that I'm really starting to see.

My wrists are small enough now that hairbands fresh out of the package only leave a vague red impression (everything leaves an imprint in my skin) rather than a deep welt! And I can spin them around easily. I remember when hairbands would choke the life out of my wrist, so it's a nice NSV, this!22
