My NSV is that I no longer feel uncomfortable exercising in front of others. Just go in and do what I planned.

I managed to go for workout today after failing to go couple of days on a trot. I’ve been struggling with sleep and motivation is rock bottom, but proud of motivating myself to hit the gym today.

I'm doing a running program (Running With Hal) and I was able to run 2.5 km without stopping on my last two runs; I run 3 km this weekend! I am initially training myself to run a 5k, with the goal of extending to a 10k by the end of 2022 (or earlier, depending on my progress).

I'm also learning more about nutrition, and specifically hydrating/eating before and after runs which has been very empowering. Lots more to learn, but I feel like I'm in control of the things that I should be in control of!

Today is my first day off. Instead of sleeping in, I woke up at 4:30 and went for my jog. I matched my pb this morning! And for the first time in like 3 years I managed a sub 6 minute kilometre! Then I went out and had a ride on my horse.

This morning I talked myself out of "just hitting McDonald's" on the way to work. I had homemade greek yogurt in my lunch bag, and THAT was what I ate for breakfast. 200 calories instead of 480 for a sausage egg and cheese McMuffin, and maybe even 960, because sometimes they have that sale where you get a 2nd for 21 cents, and what am I going to do, NOT get a 2nd for 21 cents?

I love this thread so much! I used to love opening it each morning and seeing 10-20 new updates, but alas, now we are down to 3 or 4 ☹️ Where has everyone gone?

I was late for gym but still managed to get to the gym and workout. I’m really proud that I was able to do a bit of heavy weights compared to last week. I’m Still recovering from a shoulder injury and refrained pumping iron for almost 8 months now.

I normally do not eat FF but I was craving Wendy's chili so I look up a recipe and made it at home, even a little healthier.

My sister gave me her favorite swimsuit because it doesn't fit her anymore since she lost weight. It's a size 16 and it actually fits me and is really cute. I wore it to the pool yesterday. How fun is that? She also gave me some of her hiking pants too. Those are a size 14. I can't wait to get into those.

Maybe people feel like it's all been said before? I am here to say I DON'T CARE. say it again! Let us cheer YOU accomplishing that thing--and inspire us to create our own win!

Here's mine for today (so far) I didn't go to McDonald's AGAIN. My inner 5yo thought it should be a reward for not going yesterday. XD

My tattoos are shifting back to their normal placement locations. I have knuckles again. I have elbows for the most part, again lol! My calves have a nice muscle tone to them again. I have ankles again. It is so crazy what 50lbs in weight loss has changed! Oh and I can run up the steps and not get winded!!

For the get-healthy-again competition at work, I was exciting by my weigh-in today. According to the scale we're using, I've dropped a not insignificant amount since Monday! Now, I know some of that is water weight because I ate LOTS of salt on Sunday affecting Monday's weigh-in, and I haven't had enough of a deficit the other days to justify that amount of loss. But it's still good!

Until I heard the results from my office mate, who is small framed and doesn't appear to need to lose anything. She was on her period on Monday so her weigh-in today showed a huge loss! Of *course* she didn't lose that much weight from her already small total!!! And normally it wouldn't matter to me, because each of has their own story. But this is a competition and her percentage weight loss will be HUGE because of this, and mine will be tiny!

NSV is that I can recognize that my story is my own, I want to create new good habits and am on the way, other people succeeding does not detract from my success because it isn't a pie, and I still lost weight. So yay me!
