    Inadvertently took a week off from swimming - sometimes hard to get up and out the door at 5 am to swim before work.

    10 minute swim as much as you can - got to 385m. Goal is to get to 500m in 10 min, although I'm not really sure I'm improving, in spite of my 4 months of master swim. Bah.

    Finally got myself a new swimsuit this weekend - previous one was hanging by a thread. Coincidentally (or not), I shaved 5 seconds off my 100m freestyle. Now I kinda want to get one of those suck it all in skinsuits and see if I can go even faster! Or, much like with cycling, I could probably also lose 20 lbs and make time gains without spending $$$$

    @UmmSqueaky I've got a racing suit and they do help a little. Actually I need to squeeze into mine in two weeks and I'm not optimistic. I call it compression depression - finding fat you never knew you had :disappointed:

    @emmab0902 - oh yes I know that feeling well vis a vis my trisuits :/ still trying to lose enough weight to fit into an awesome vanderkitten one I bought for my first tri 2 years ago. Still can't get to not roll up awkwardly.
