    Well I didn't read the whole thread, just the opening post. I really hope this guy is joking. 50 shades is not about women's issues. It does not portray lifestyle D/s at all with any accuracy either. It seemed to me that is was pure fantasy with not much grounded in the realities of what it is like to be in a D/s relationship. Disclaimer: I read only snippets and will not be seeing the movie.

    Exactly. I read the books, they were an okay read but like most works of fiction - they aren't much like real D/s relationships - just as a work of fiction about a talking grizzly bear isn't a lot like a real grizzley bear. It is for entertainment.
