3 pounds in one week?!

Hi everyone! I just joined on Monday and I'm down 3 pounds! I've been vigilant about tracking every last thing I eat and exercising hard. I don't expect this pace to continue, but it's sure a motivating start!

    Congrats to you! I lost 3.7 last week and I know it wont continue but yes it is a nice pat on the back for a job well done.

  • I lost 2 my first week and 3 my 2nd. I know it wont continue but I only need to lose 11 more so ever pound helps.

    the first weeks:flowerforyou: are great, mostly water weight but keep focused dont always expect too much...I c alot of people get discouraged that way...

    Don't forget to take your measurements! After the first few weeks your weight my platue for a bit but the inches still come off.
  • That's great. I lost four pounds my first week - then it tapered off to 1 pd a week. Some weeks are different. Just know you're making good decisions and all the right moves.

    yes! i think that we all lose a lot in the beginning from this reason. it's only been around 6 weeks for me and now i'm at about 1-2 pounds a week. expect slow, steady loss and it will come! don't get discouraged if you go below 3 pounds in a few weeks.
