I've just joined and looking for some support! When I first started dieting I weighed 215 pounds and I've managed to get down to 199 but I'm stuck in a bit of rut. I've just been dieting not exercising, but I've done some exercise this morning and hoping to find some motivational tips on here.

hi nicola
yeah im in the exact same place! i personally think the dieting is the easy part of loosing weight
but i have noticed that every time i fail to reach my goals its been because i started exercising when i still a bit too heavy, so this time i've set myself a weight i want to be at before i can do anything more rigorous then walking.
all i can say is be careful about pushing yourself out of your rut, you might end up pushing too hard and not listening to why your bodies and mind is in the rut in the first place
never give up and good luck!!!!0 -
Thank you
this is one of the things I need to be aware of - listening to my body and when it's time to stop
