Diet help

I have a problem with my diet these days. I'm your typical guy. I love burgers, pizza, ect... My major weakness is Soda. I know its bad for me, but I just keep going back for it. Anyone got any idea on starting to eat better?

    water! I used to be a 3-6 can a day soda drinker...I've started drinking 3 to 4 liters of water a day and don't even miss the soda at all! the first few days I had one or two cans but tapered it off. Yesterday I had two coke zeros but I don't even really crave soda anymore. :P

    Plan, plan, plan. I do up a weekly food plan in Excel including all meals and snacks and post it right on the fridge. This makes it a complete "no brainer" to put together meals, remember to take out the meat for dinner . . . and I actually create my grocery list right from this sheet so we have no waste now.
    The better you plan the better chance you have to stick to a healthy way of eating.

    Know the feeling I had to WORK down from soda.. first diet, then a healthy drink in a can.. I found afterall it was THE CAN that I loved :) Perhaps look for healthier versions of your favorite foods. Homemade you can control what you put in and it doesnt have all that sodium. Some places now offer whole wheat pizza crust, and you could have them go light on the cheese..
