I think exercise calories are the most posted about topic ever! But I need some suggestions! I am considering eating my exercise calories every other day. I am doing well, but I find myself eating my exercise calories even when I am not particularly hungry. What do you all think about zigzagging in this way?

That is essentially how I did it for about 4 months of my best weight loss... Although I did three days not eating them back and two days eating them back...
I think that as long as your exercise calories don't drop your net calories down past 1200 you should be good that way...
I never want to put myself in starvation mode again - that was a pain lol

Why complicate things? Just eat them back lady. I didnt and got onto a major plateau. Now I do, and I am losing again....

I agree, you already fluctuate with your calories any ways, depending on how many calories your burned during exercise and your rest days, so just eat back you exercise calories, I dont understand why plp are afraid to eat them. I have always eaten mine back but found out after a month of a plateau that I had my activity level set to sedentary which was wrong and I wasnt eating enough...once I added about 300 calories on top of my exercise cals I started loosing again!!

It is ok to be loosing weight and EATING LOL eventually you are gonna reach a weight where it is necessary to eat them back....Just like you gotta gas your car to drive it places, you gotta fuel you body for it to function.

When you do, do you do it after the workout or do you spread them onto all of your meals that particular day?

You dont have to eat them all back if you dont want, but you need to make sure to get a minimum of 1200 net calories. You may still plateu at just 1200net, but if that happens, just eat more back... My daily goal is 1660 calories and I usually end up eating in the 1400 or 1500 calorie range, and if i excercise i eat back a minimum to get me into the healthy level (1400net).
