    I want to lose weight. I wanna see it drop off. What are some things I should avoid? Salt...gotcha. so try and eat as little salt as possible ?

    Err..your body does actually need salt. I'd suggest staying under around 2500mg/day. It isn't likely to have any effect on your fat loss, but excess salt will prompt your body to hold onto water, which is really only going to affect what the scale says.

    As far as what other people have said about processed vs unprocessed, "white" foods vs not...it's all very debatable.

    Personally, I'd suggest eating almost anything you want that fits within your daily calorie requirement and taking multi-vitamin if you're concerned about micronutrients. It happens to work for me, but you'll have to find your own way.
